College Connections: (Boy’s raising 4th graders to High School)

Dates: July 10th-13th

Location: Hospital Hill Fields in Medfield

This will be the eighth summer of the College Connections Lacrosse Clinic. We are excited about this year’s staff which includes professional lacrosse players, college lacrosse players and coaches, and a certified trainer. All of the instructors grew up playing lacrosse locally and want to give back to the game they love by sharing with youth players. Through lacrosse, we have been able to maximize our educational opportunities and make life-long friendships and want to pass that on.

The goal of our clinic is to share our knowledge and love of the game. Numbers will be limited to ensure a great counselor to player ratio. We strive for participants to have as many one-on-one interactions with college players and coaches as possible. We will also share our high school and college recruiting experiences stressing the importance of academics. Each day of the clinic will consist of two playing sessions. The first session will focus on individual skill development while the later session will include scrimmages and work on team concepts. All players will receive a coach’s evaluation at the conclusion of the clinic.  We are looking forward to another great year and hope that everyone leaves a better lacrosse player with a deeper love of the game.

3D - Be The Best  - Lacrosse Camp

Program Overview

The Be The Best camp is one of the best instructional camps that we offer. We will be teaching players all of the skills and concepts involved in the 3d Lacrosse Methodology. Players will be pushed to reach their potential by creating a high rep and high intensity environment. We believe that young players develop a better sense for the game by competing in small-sided drills where they are able to be highly involved in every play. More opportunities to touch the ball and better chances to receive it playing off ball will not only be more fun, but players will find new ways to incorporate skills and techniques we teach them. This camp is designed to help players develop their game before all of the summer tournaments begin.

We start on Tuesday, June 13th and will meet in the evenings from 3:45pm to 7:45pm at Dexter Southfield. This camp is scheduled in the afternoon to allow players that are still in school enough time to get to our camp.

This summer we will have goalie and face-off specialist training each day during camp in which players will break off and receive positional training.
